Returns & Refund Policy

SALES & RETURNS TERMS
Infinity Effects
Last Updated: August 2026
These Sales & Returns Terms apply to products purchased directly from Infinity Effects, including purchases made through our website.
By placing an order with Infinity Effects, you agree to these terms.
Nothing within these terms is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
1. Orders & Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by Infinity Effects.
An order is not considered accepted until we have confirmed acceptance or dispatched the goods.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
  • A product is unavailable;
  • There has been an obvious pricing or product description error;
  • Payment has not been successfully received;
  • We cannot reasonably deliver to the requested location; or
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
Where payment has already been taken for an order that we subsequently cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.

2. Prices & Payment
Prices are displayed in the applicable currency and will state whether VAT is included or added where relevant.
Delivery, pallet, courier, freight or other applicable transportation charges may be charged separately.
Full payment must be received unless Infinity Effects has expressly agreed alternative payment or credit terms in writing.
Goods remain the property of Infinity Effects until payment has been received in full, to the extent permitted by law.

3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, technical information, photographs and specifications are accurate.
However, product images, digital colour charts, samples and screen representations are for guidance and may not reproduce the exact appearance or colour of the physical product.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the relevant product information, Technical Data Sheet (TDS), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and application instructions before use.

4. Colours & Batch Variation
Coatings, pigments, decorative finishes, aggregates and resin-based systems may be subject to reasonable colour, shade, texture or appearance variation.
Variations may result from raw materials, production batches, substrate colour, substrate porosity, application technique, film thickness, lighting or other site conditions.
Where multiple units are required for the same project, customers should check batch numbers and products before commencing application.
Products should not be applied if the customer believes the incorrect product, colour or batch has been supplied.

5. Delivery
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring suitable access is available for delivery.
Where applicable, customers must ensure appropriate arrangements are available to receive palletised, oversized or commercial deliveries.
Any visible transit damage or shortages should be reported to Infinity Effects as soon as reasonably possible.

6. Inspection Before Use
Customers must inspect products before opening, mixing or application.
Please check:
  • Product name;
  • Quantity;
  • Colour;
  • Packaging condition;
  • Batch information where applicable; and
  • That the products supplied correspond with the order.
If you believe an incorrect or damaged product has been supplied, do not use, mix, dilute, tint or apply the product. Contact Infinity Effects before proceeding.

7. Application & Product Suitability
Infinity Effects supplies specialist coatings, resins, aggregates and associated materials.
Products must be prepared, mixed, stored and applied in accordance with the applicable Infinity Effects TDS, SDS, installation guide and system specification.
Customers and installers are responsible for ensuring that substrates are appropriately prepared and that site and environmental conditions are suitable for application.
Coverage rates, drying times, curing times and working times stated within technical literature are estimates and may vary depending on substrate, temperature, humidity, application thickness, application method and site conditions.
Infinity Effects cannot accept responsibility for failures caused by incorrect preparation, mixing, application, storage, contamination or use contrary to our technical instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

8. Returns – General Policy
Infinity Effects does not operate a voluntary change-of-mind returns policy.
All sales are final except where a cancellation, return, refund, repair or replacement is required by applicable law or where Infinity Effects expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Do not return any products to Infinity Effects without first receiving return authorisation and return instructions.
Unauthorised returns may be refused.

9. Consumer Online Orders
Where you purchase as a consumer online or through another qualifying distance-selling method, you may have a statutory right to cancel eligible purchases.
For eligible goods, consumers generally have 14 days from receipt of the goods to notify us that they wish to cancel.
Following cancellation, the goods must then be returned within the applicable statutory return period.
The customer is responsible for arranging and paying the direct cost of returning unwanted goods where permitted by law and where Infinity Effects has not agreed to pay those costs.
Products must be appropriately packaged for return.
Where permitted by law, Infinity Effects may make a deduction from a refund for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

10. Custom, Tinted & Made-to-Order Products
Where permitted by law, the right to cancel does not apply to products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
Accordingly, products manufactured, tinted, pigmented, blended, customised or specially produced to a customer’s specification may be non-cancellable and non-returnable, except where the goods are faulty, incorrectly supplied or where another statutory right applies.
Customers should therefore carefully confirm colours, quantities and specifications before ordering customised products.

11. Business & Trade Orders
Where goods are purchased wholly or mainly for the purposes of a trade, business, craft or profession, the transaction will be treated as a business-to-business (B2B) sale.
All B2B sales are final.
Correctly supplied commercial goods are non-returnable and non-refundable unless Infinity Effects expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
If Infinity Effects agrees, entirely at its discretion, to accept a commercial return:
  • Prior written authorisation must be obtained;
  • The goods must satisfy any return conditions specified by Infinity Effects;
  • The customer is responsible for arranging and paying return transportation;
  • Original delivery, freight, courier and pallet charges are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed; and
  • Acceptance of one return does not create any obligation to accept future returns.
Custom, tinted, pigmented, manufactured-to-order or specially produced commercial products will not normally be accepted for return.
Nothing in this section excludes any liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If you believe goods supplied by Infinity Effects are faulty, damaged on delivery, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us promptly.
We may request:
  • Order or invoice number;
  • Product name;
  • Batch number;
  • Photographs or video;
  • Details of the alleged issue;
  • Substrate and preparation information;
  • Mixing/application information; and
  • Environmental or site conditions where relevant.
Do not dispose of, mix, modify, apply or otherwise alter products that are the subject of a claim unless instructed by Infinity Effects.
Where goods fail to meet applicable legal requirements, Infinity Effects will provide the appropriate remedy required by law.

13. Opened or Used Products
Except where statutory rights apply, products that have been opened, mixed, catalysed, diluted, tinted, contaminated, partially used or applied are non-returnable.
Infinity Effects does not accept voluntary returns of opened coatings, resins, catalysts, hardeners, additives or other chemical products.
This does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.

14. Storage & Handling
Customers are responsible for storing products in accordance with the relevant packaging, TDS and SDS requirements following delivery.
Products must be protected from unsuitable temperatures, frost, excessive heat, moisture, contamination and other inappropriate storage conditions.
Infinity Effects cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by incorrect storage or handling after delivery, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

15. Installation & Third-Party Labour Costs
Infinity Effects supplies materials and does not automatically accept responsibility for third-party installation, labour, removal, reapplication, loss of working time, equipment hire or other consequential costs arising from the use of a product.
Customers and contractors should stop work and contact Infinity Effects immediately where a suspected product issue becomes apparent.
Any limitation or exclusion of liability under these terms applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Refunds
Where Infinity Effects approves or is legally required to provide a refund, the refund will normally be made using the original payment method.
Consumer refunds will be processed within the timescales required by applicable law.
Infinity Effects will not refund return transportation, premium delivery services or other additional costs except where required by law or expressly agreed by us.

17. Refused & Failed Deliveries
Customers are responsible for providing correct delivery information.
Where delivery fails because of an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, lack of suitable access or failure to accept delivery, Infinity Effects may charge reasonable redelivery, storage and return transportation costs where permitted by law.

18. Cancellation by Business Customers
Business and trade orders cannot be cancelled after acceptance without the written agreement of Infinity Effects.
Where Infinity Effects agrees to a commercial cancellation, we reserve the right to recover reasonable costs already incurred in processing, manufacturing, packaging, transportation or otherwise fulfilling the order.
Custom-manufactured or specially ordered goods cannot normally be cancelled once production or procurement has commenced.

19. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Sales & Returns Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or override any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Consumer goods supplied by Infinity Effects remain subject to applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
